CHHATH PUJA
Chhath puja is also one of the important festival in the india, but it is only celeberated only in few states generally in bihar and jharkhand. it is also do in some parts of westbengal, orissa , assam, and utter pradesh.
this chhath festival begins on the sixth day of the month of kartk (october - november). it is the four day long festival an also called surya sasthi . the chhath brata is dedcated to lord surya (sun), agni (fire), and lord kartikeya . People undertake this Vrat for the well being of the family. it is believe that people get their whishes fulfilled , if they observe chhath puja neatly . in this fstival the fasting is also kept by women . in many places men also join thi rituals and keep fast.
During chhath puja devotee cook their food with dry wood on new oven made by brick and yellow saoil . and then cook food for lord surya this is also called prasad. all thing should be fresh but no onion and garllic should be used in this food. and also no garlic and onion used during the chhath puja
the first day of the chhath is dedicated to cleaning,purification and preparaton . the man food in this day is rice , chhana dal , and louki ( green guard). the dy is also reffered a louki bhat.
The second day of the chhath is known as kharna . fast begins on th second day this is reffered as kharna . the fstr is broken after performing puja at home in the evening. chapati with cow ghee kheer , sweet and fruits offer to dities. after that whole family and peoples are invited to take prasad. than aft taking prsad again dieties are goe to fasting . ths fast is broken after fourh day of the morning.
Third day of the chhath puja is the sandhya aragh. devotee offer arag to sitting sun along with soop (bomboo soop) at a poud, or riverbank. soop is consist of flour , fruits, dry coconut,thekua,sugarcane, white reddish,turmeric etc. the offering is made to sun into the knee deep water in the evening pujas are performed at home and a special puja is done for Agni – fire god. ths puja is done in special area courdoned by four sugarcane stick .
and te last day(fouirth day) of the chhath puja is suryodaya aragh the devotee repeate (the third day evening aragh) infront of rising sun . and then devotee offer prasad to lord surya then chhath puja cmes to finish.

The festival of lights Deepawali

In India deepawali is the greatest festival of lights. Deepawali celebreated in the month between october and november. Deepawali is a festival of lights symbolising the victory of righteousness and the lifting of spiritual darkness. The word 'Deepawali' literally means rows of diyas (clay lamps). This is one of the most popular festivals in the Hindu calendar. It is celebrated on the 15th day of Kartika .This festival commemorates Lord Rama's return to his kingdom Ayodhya after completing his 14-year exile. we worship lord ganesha and goddess laxhmi. In evening Streets are illuminated with rows of clay lamps and homes are decorated with colours and candles.all indian's house. People clean our house in deepawali and decorate with lot of light.This festival is celebrated with new clothes, spectacular firecrackers and a variety of sweets in the company of family and friends. All this illumination and fireworks, joy and festivity, signify the victory of divine forces over those of wicked. The Goddess Lakshmi (consort of Vishnu), who is the symbol of wealth and prosperity, is also worshipped on this day. In West Bengal, this festival is celebrated as Kali Puja, and Kali, Shiva's consort, is worshipped on the occasion of Diwali.

but in Dipawali lot of pollution occured during burning crackers that will be the reasion of globle warming . so we have to do some work for it. we have to make our earth green. for that we have to do something with each other.
