4. Bahaya pranayam - This pranayama is not easiar than other pranayam it is very dificult to do ne . technique is applied in the state of "external kumbhaka (suspension of breath after exhalation). Bahya Pranayama is referred to elsewhere as "Uddiyana Bandha," which includes the abdominal lock, root lock (mulabandha) and the chin lock (Jalandhar bandha). Baba Ramdev maharaj refers to Uddiyana bandha simply as the abdominal lock. When all three locks are applied, it calls "Bahya Pranayama."
the Beginners should do Bahya Pranayama 3 to 5 times. Advanced practitioners can do 11 repetitions. that is enough for the general people.
